Balloon Domino: privacy policy

This policy explains how Balloon Domino ("the app"), published on Google Play by VPC Apps ("we"), handles information. Earlier versions (1.0.x) did not use advertising or analytics and collected no information.
Summary
- We do not run our own servers, and we never sell your information.
- Your game progress stays on your device.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob: optional rewarded ads when you choose to watch one (for example for a hint or to save a streak), and short ads between levels (not during your first levels, and at most every few minutes).
- An optional "Remove ads" purchase turns off the ads between levels. Payment is handled by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
- The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the game is played and to fix crashes.
- No account or sign-in is needed. The app does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your game progress (levels unlocked, stars earned) and settings (appearance, sound) only on your device, using Android's standard app storage. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
When the app shows an ad (a rewarded ad you chose to watch, or an ad between levels), it uses Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers,
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- information about your device (model, operating system, language) and how you interact with ads.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices. Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). Ads are limited to content suitable for teens.

Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services of Google LLC, to learn which levels are played, completed or abandoned, how hints are used, and to diagnose crashes. These services collect:
- game events (for example "level 12 won", "hint used"),
- an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version,
- crash reports (technical details of what went wrong).
We use this only in aggregate to improve the game. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not combine it with other information. Google keeps this data for a limited period under its retention settings. More information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Links to Google Play
The "More games" screen and the rating prompt open Google Play. Google Play's own privacy policy applies there.
In-app purchase ("Remove ads")
Where offered, the "Remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing under Google Play's terms and privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was made (with an order reference), never your name, card or other payment details. The app stores the purchase status on your device and can restore it through Google Play if you reinstall.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent information. Information is processed by Google (AdMob and Firebase) as described above and is sent over encrypted connections.
Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.
Your choices
Rewarded ads are always optional: you can skip them by never tapping an "AD" button. Ads between levels can be turned off with the "Remove ads" purchase where it is offered. You can change ad consent in the app (where offered), reset your advertising ID in Android settings, or uninstall the app to stop all collection. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy before releasing that version and change the "Last updated" date above.
